Rolling out of drive
Later that day:
Had the privilege of Canada's most careful customs personnel.
This guy was slow.
He asked us, how long will you be in Canada?
We answered. About 3 weeks.
What seemed like 5 minutes later, he says, so you'll be here a week?
No. We repeat. About 3 weeks.
Welcome to the safe country of Canada.
It took well over 30 minutes to get thru. In that time he had one vehicle pull into the dreaded inspection lane.
Parked that night:
Off the road just east of Toronto. (Took forever to find a site that big ole Tana would fit on and we could get level on. A challenge.)
