The light house of the day. Did not even have to get out of Jolly.
Today we went to Shelburne. This was planned as we wanted to visit the old old historic area. Some thing kept mingling at my researchers memory. So I pulled out the data base carried on the iPhone. Yep. Man has a connection to this very specific town. A great grandfather is considered to be a Loyalist. maybe a failed Loyalist. Lol. Seems his request for land or whatever was denied. But he was here around 1785.
We were impressed with 126. Look at the old nails.
Flowers and such. The "bluest" hydrangeas. Hostas that are special, and do not seem to have holes from critters.
We visited 3 museums. Lots more photos. Two for now. The coverlet is similar to the one given to nephew D, from our Halterman kin. Linen and wool. Color basically the same. The windows are called "bottle" Windows. Kinda the throw away, sold cheap. Had to watch where installed so they did not "heat" up something from magnifying the sun.
Dory museum. This is a dory, a fishing boat. Also a lobster pot coffee table. And Man can now apply for his boatbuilding apprenticeship.
